Every Wisconsin municipality is required to file a Municipal Financial Report (MFR) electronically with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR), showing prior year revenues and expenditures. By early February, DOR emails each municipality a Financial Report letter with a notification that the MFR is available for filing.
