Supervisor 3 and Supervisor 4 are elected each even year to serve a two-year term, beginning with the third Tuesday in April.The Town of Cross Plains Board meets at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall on the first Thursday after the second Monday of every month. The board’s primary function is to provide legislation, policy, and decision making for the town, as well as to set the annual budget and determine the yearly tax levy. Town residents are encouraged to attend town board meetings regularly to keep up on the discussions and actions of the board. Every board meeting includes a public comment period, during which the board may receive information from the public on any item, limited to three minutes, but the board may not act on the matter until a future meeting when proper notice of the item may be given.
